Make your own Granola

Breakfast is one of the most important meals according to wise people, and I think that they are right. I really feel much better after a healthy breakfast than for instance after eating a delicious croissant. My favourite breakfast at the moment is yoghurt with banana and Granola. I always make the Granola myself and often change from time to time with my ingredients. Oatmeal is always the base and the rest depends on what I can find or which mood I am in.

I make my Granola with:

Nut mix without salt (hazelnuts, almonds, walnuts, pecans and raisins)
Dry fruit (plum, apricot, pear, apple)
Mix of Superfruit and seeds (cranberries, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, goji berries and mulberries)
Hemp seeds
Chia seeds

Sometimes I bake all the ingredients (except the fruit) 15 minutes in the oven, but mostly I don’t even bother. I just doe all the ingredients in the blender and mix them well together.

You can easily vary the granola with all different kind of dry fruit, nuts or seeds. What you like or what you can find in the stores. You also have a lot of different kind of superfood powders which could add some extra vitamins and flavours.
